( These were my fav pics, too bad they didn't turn out!) and that made up for it. We first went to a few neighbors houses and left Linda in charge of the candy, by the time we got back most of the little kids had already come, which was sad because that is the best part, seeing all costumes. Dax really didn't know what was going on, when we open the door to give kids candy he would try to escape down the front steps. He tried everytime without fail, can't blame the kid for trying I guess. Between Dobby barking everytime the doorbell rings and Dax trying to escape, halloween always makes for an interesting night. After the festivities we broke out the video camera, we are not very consistent about filming. I think that puts us pretty low on the good parent scale..... I attemped taking some pics, but the flash wouldn't work on our camera. This is how our conversation went...
Sarah: "Do you know how to turn the camera flash on?"
Landon: "Look at Dax he is trying to eat the candy"
Sarah: "Maybe it is just broken."
Landon: "I think I'm going to get a drink."
Needless to say I never figured it out, so here is my attempt at taking pics on halloween. The last time we put this costume on Dax he was angry he couldn't get the banana off his sleeve, but this time he wanted to eat his banana. Progress, I think? After the festivities Landon and I watched a movie, Boys dont cry (due to the brakes going out in my car that day we couldn't leave). I went to bed scarred and crying from the story, but the movie was very well done.
