Balloon

Did you ever realize how aWEsoMe a balloon is??....Neither did Dax.... Until Now...the FaCE says it all!!! Don't come between a man and his balloon!

Also notice in the backgroud, it says Bambi coming soon. We were watching Jungle Book (It's amazing what you dig up when you move). Watching the old Disney movies makes me feel so old. Dax LovEs the new Dr. Suess movie Horton hears a Who so we have been watching that alot lately and watching the two back to back was like we went back 100 years in the world of graphics!!

Missing my sister....

So missing my sister ventured a plane ride alone with a toddler...Yikes. Dax and I have flown together before, but my mom came with so it wasn't quite as stressful. The last time we flew he fell asleep as the plane was taking off, so I was sure he would do the same thing this time. WRONG! He was actually very well behaved he just wanted to talk to everyone. He would stand up on my legs and yell, "Hi, Hi, Hi, Hi....." to everyone he could see. The man next to me was very friendly and tolerated him the entire flight, they were best buds by the time we got off.

An hour and half later we were happy to be in Colorado to see my sister, brother-in-law, and neice. We hung out watched the kids and got to go to the zoo!! I have been wanting to take dax to the zoo ever since I remember. We had an awesome time.

We went to the zoo in Colorado Springs. The giraffe's were my favorite, though I was completely unaware of the size of their tongues before this experience and wasn't properly warned. They near swallowed my hand on several instances. Dax loved it until one swallowed his hand then he was a little hesitant. (we forgot his hat so he had to wear Rory's, it's adorable though!)

They also had a great bird exihibit. They glued bird seed on a stick and you get to feed the birds. Dax wanted to feed ALL the birds.

Love Rory's face in the pic above. Below is my first ever attempt at Guitar Hero, I mostly suck, it was good times though. I came home and bought Rockbank and I am sad to admit I played it till 2:30 in the morning on Friday. It's funny because I always made fun of Landon for playing Playstation and I so don't have time for such non sense. Once again you should never say never.

We had an awesome time in Colorado. I wish I could see my sister everyday, but I have to settle with twice a year. I'll take what I can get though, she is the stable rock in my life and I look up to her for so many things! Thanks guys for having us, I miss you all already!

So I have Always wanted to get our family pics done and the day hath finally come!! Some friends of mine had theirs done at christmas by this girl and I have been obsessed with her ever since. I wish I could take great pics because I really LOVE photography....maybe someday.

The one above of Dax is my fav! I love how the outfit brings out his eyes. Bree helped me pick it out in Colorado (pics soon to be posted). Oh how I love her love for Gymboree.

Some more of Dax. I do wish there were more of him smiling because he is such a smiley kid, though I am surprised she even got what she did. We were outside and he was on a pretty serious mission of discovery NOT picture taking.

This was the third location we went to and it was a Park so Dax was really not interested.

We were laughing at Dax in this one. He was supposed to be sitting in my lap, but wanted to run down the hill, we tried like five times then gave up and laughed. I kinda like how it turned out though.

This was at a cell phone store on state street. Again none with dax because he was impossible. I gave him a bag of cookies on the way to this place and he wouldn't let it go once we got there.......big miStaKe.

Cabella's

So on Sunday, Landon and I wanted to get out of the house and do something, well really just me, but I convinced him "we" wanted to. Anyway we took dax to see the fish and animals at Cabella's, he loves watching fish. When we got the fish tank they had just put these little innocent goldfish in for the bigger fish, which was sadly mesmorizing to watch. A definate train wreck.

Pictured is Dax's famous blank stare. He does not smile on command. It seems the harder I try to get him to smile the stranger a face he makes at me. It was funny because when he saw the fish and other animals you could almost see the little wheels spinning in his head.
