Happy Valentines!!

We had a pretty slow Valentines evening, however Kalai generously let us stay in a hotel he had for the weekend. We had a great time, I think Landon and I had more fun playing with Dax than anything else, as you can see from all the pictures. It's not all the time we get to spend the whole weekend together so we took full advantage. Our room was beautiful, the first night we didn't arrive til late so we just relaxed and watched Dax play in the new v-day PJ's Grandma got Dax to help celebrate. A few people mis-took him for a girl in this outfit but he was still cute!!

The Next day we got up earlier, and set out to so some outlet shopping. I think Dax had the most fun, okay maybe I did, good bargains = happiness!! We went to the Carters oulet first and Landon discoved their legos table. They both had fun leaving me plenty of time to do my thing! :)

We continued shopping ending up at the toy store, Landon has so much showing Dax all the toys, they have to look at all of them. Before we got there Landon found Dax a "stud" hat. It is really cute and has now become his favorite hat!
These dogs walked around and did flips, at first Dax didn't know what to think, but he liked it after minute or two.

The balls were pretty scary, but can you really blame him!

After shopping we were back to our room by noon, and after a nap we were ready to head for the pool. This was Dax's first time in a swimming pool, though bath time is his favorite, I was surprised how much he loved swimming! We would hold him in the water on his stomach and he would kick his arms and legs like he was swimming and giggle. He also loved splashing!

After swimming we went to dinner with Landon's Uncle Tom and his girlfriend Heather. All in all we had a great weekend!

New Toys!

Grandma and grandpa got Dax a new walker to keep at their house. He successfully tasted all the toys and decided he approved.

Dax loves to play these days, 24 hours a day if he could. He is turning into such a little boy, his favorite playmate is of course Daddy, though Grandma Loveless is a close second!

He has discovered the blinds to be a great toy as well, he likes to shake the blinds back and forth, but not without getting the strings in his mouth first. It's funny because he concentrates so hard to keep the strings in his mouth, he can hardly move anywhere else.
